practice the sacraments of Holy Baptism and the Eucharist, and hold the Holy
Scriptures as their guide for faith and life
- is a pilgrim people i.e. we believe life is a journey which is marked by
various rites of passage, like Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation, Marriage.
Baptism is the main and first way we are Initiated (or Introduced) into the Way
of Jesus Christ. Every baptised person needs to grow in their trust in God and
so release the gifts of God given in baptism.
