Welcome to 2007
GOOD NEIGHBOURS!
We welcome all of you to the year 2007 and pray that you enjoy it to the full!
We at St Andrews Church wish to extend our hands of fellowship to all who live around us and would like you to come and join hands with us in the numerous projects we intend to embark upon for the good of all in the community. We have decided to be in full partnership with all in the community to make life in our community a happy and enjoyable one for all.
It is exciting and challenging to explore ways we can work together as neighbours for the good of our community. There is great emphasis by the Church on doing good for other people. Neighbourhood care schemes aim at bringing people together. They also try to bring about caring relationships- for the elderly, the lonely, the youth, the strong, the sick, the weak, the bereaved, the poor and the rich. Every one is important and we need to join hands together to bring about this in the community. We need one another and it is exciting to see how small contributions from many sources can make a difference in the lives of people.
The St Andrews Church is embarking on numerous projects that will usher a new lease of life for all in our community and we invite you to join hands with us to achieve this laudable project. We have set up a new group – The Nucleus – using Music and Drama to help the young people and all to enjoy themselves and relax with friends. The school and others will benefit from the projects and we need your support and partnership. Come on Sunday evenings at 6.30 pm and see find out yourself how you can help to bring out new life in our community. We need volunteers to put hands together with the Nucleus and the newly formed Council-sponsored project- Positive Future for the Grange for the good of our community.
Once again, it is our desire to show that we are Good Neighbours to the glory of God and joy of everyone here in our community.
