| Pupils from our three local Primary Schools,
Hallwood Park, Halton Lodge and Woodside, supported by St Chad's School
Art Department, entered a Church sponsored Art Competition, The object was
for the pupils to draw pictures on theme of NEW LIFE and REGENERATION
to brighten the facade of our now closed and boarded up church hall, while
decisions are arrived at as to it's future value to the community.
On Easter Sunday, St. Andrew's welcomed the Rt Rev'd Keith Sinclair,
Bishop of Birkenhead who preached a celebratory service of thanksgiving
for our Risen Lord and duly opened the Art Exhibition watched by many of the
scholars who drew the exhibits and their parents together with the
congregation.
We were all very pleased with the high standard of the drawings, most
of which are 'thumb-nailed' below, please click on picture to en-large and
on the back button to return to this page.
Thank you children for all your hard work. |
